Egg is one of the best sources of protein for the human body. The best part is that it can be cooked in so many ways! From scrambled eggs, egg curry to tandoori egg, name it and the dish exists. Who doesn’t love pasta? Whether it is spaghetti, lasagna, penne or just macaroni, we love pasta in all shapes and sizes. This egg pasta recipe blends the comfort of the egg with the fun of pasta. This desi creation uses the masaledaar flavour garam masala to create a hot and spicy egg pasta. In this recipe, the eggs don’t need to be boiled, they will be added to the masala and then scrambled. That way you get small surprises of egg at every bite.

How To Make Egg Pasta:

Ingredients :
Penne Pasta – ½ cup
Egg – 2
Onion – 1
Tomato – 1
Green capsicum – ¼ cup
Ginger garlic paste – ½ tsp
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp
Oil – 2 tsp


1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds. When it crackles add chopped onion and saute well. Once the onions look sauteed add ginger garlic paste and saute well till the raw smell goes.

2. Add chopped tomatoes. Saute once then add red chilli powder, salt and garam masala powder. Mix and saute well till tomatoes are cooked.

3. Break 2 eggs and scramble it. While scrambling the eggs add the chopped capsicum and mix well.

4. When the egg looks completely scrambled add the cooked pasta and toss well until everything is combined well. When everything looks combined put off the flame and serve it hot!
